Who took the pictures.

Every photograph that asks to be credited, and by whom

Most of the photographs here are Unsplash Licence, which asks for no credit, so they are not listed. The ones below are Creative Commons Attribution, mostly from Wikimedia Commons, and that licence is free to use on one condition: the photographer is named. This page is that condition being met, and it is built from the same record the site uses to decide which picture goes on which dish, so a photograph cannot be in use here with its credit missing.

We went looking on Commons because the stock libraries do not hold this food. Searching them for eggplant rollatini returns twenty one pictures of raw aubergines; searching for a parmigiana sandwich returns a sand dune. Wikipedia needs pictures of the dishes themselves, so Commons has them, taken by people who were having dinner.
