If you run a restaurant and a price shown here is out of date, the quickest fix is to update the menu on your own website or ordering page, because that is what we read. If a restaurant is listed under the wrong name or address, or has closed, tell us the area and the dish page it appears on and we will correct the listing on the next build.

We do not accept prices sent in by email, because we cannot show readers where they came from. Every price on the site is read from a published menu and carries the date it was read.

Advertising on DineForLess is placed by Google AdSense. We do not sell placements directly and do not take payment from restaurants for position on a list.

What to send where

If the message is about one price being wrong, report a wrong price says what to include, which is the address of the page, the restaurant, the item as the menu lists it and what the menu says now. That is the fastest kind of message for us to act on, because it names the record rather than the subject.

If you run a restaurant and want to know how your prices got here, or you want the listing corrected or taken down, write and say which address you are. We hold prices for 17,004 restaurants across 1,238 areas and every one of them was read from a published menu, so there is always a source to check against what you tell us. A restaurant that is missing is one we have not read yet rather than one we have excluded, and there is no fee for being added.

If the question is how any of this is worked out, the method is written down on how we read prices, including what the typical price is counted over and why a page sometimes lists fewer kitchens than it names. What the site stores about a visitor, which is almost nothing, is on privacy, and that page also covers how to ask about data held on you.

We read everything that arrives at that address. We cannot promise to reply to every message, and we will not answer one asking us to move a restaurant up a list, because the order on every page is the price and nothing else.
